The Virginia Lottery, an independent state agency, is seeking a Sales Systems Specialist to monitor, maintain and support the sales force automation system. The Sales System Specialist will work collaboratively with the Sales Operations Specialist, headquarters staff, field staff/management and external vendors to ensure daily operations. These operations include order processing, game catalog management, automatic orders, winner awareness files, and data synching occur properly. This position will be responsible for gathering feedback, suggestions and recommendations from users regarding the sales force automation system. The ideal candidate for this position will work closely with the Sales Operations Specialist, the Lottery's IT department and the vendor to develop, test and deploy software enhancements in response to needs and requests from the users.

Minimum Qualifications

* Attention to detail and successfully handle multiple tasks -Self-starter and comfortable with prioritizing, establishing objectives and processes, and working to achieve them in a timely manner -Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team -Customer service experience and strong communication skills to provide effective instructions, assistance and feedback with various departments and users -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is required

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of Microsoft Access, experience with inventory management and sales experience is preferred. Bachelor's Degree is preferred, but not required. Experience with Sales Force Automation Tools is preferred. A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications. Preferred candidate will have experience working within the VA Lottery.

Special Requirements

The selected candidate must possess a valid Driver's license, and be able to pass a background investigation.
