IAI is seeking a skilled Sr. Logistician to support a critical program at our USG Customer site in Reston, VA. This position is vital to the success of the program and provides a tremendous opportunity for technical leadership as a contractor. The successful candidate will apply their logistics expertise to provide equipment property management and reporting. Duties include:
Developing logistics strategies, plans, documentation and reports Performing inventory activities Acting as the primary POC and facilitator for end-to-end shipment processes Previous experience working within a system program office plus Knowledge of DoD 5000.02 a plus Additional duties will include but are not limited to: Develop material handling processes for shipping, receiving, storage and disposition of property Establish program level Defense Property Accountability System(s) for incoming property (Line Item Receiving Report), transferred property and excessed property Coordinate all aspects of shipments resulting from systems integration and system upgrade activities Coordinate and performs property accountability functions and property management functions in accordance with government guidance and industry best practices Develop inventory control processes to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved or transferred
Requires minimum 8-10 years relevant experience Proven expertise with procurement tools desired Must have IC experience
Must possess a current active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance
